PROJECT QUALITY ASSURANCE
It is extremely important that projects are conducted in a disciplined, well-managed, and in a manner that promotes the delivery of quality products completed on time, within budget and supporting the end user business requirements. Periodic Quality Assurance (QA) conducted at the right time by an experienced practitioner will ensure the above.
Even with a perfect project Start-up and strong governance structure, it is important for any project must go through, at minimum three project reviews during the life of any project - One at the beginning, one during the delivery and one before the Go-Live.
Quality Assurance at times can be a source of anxiety in some projects. This anxiety can be experienced by some key stakeholders. After all, pointing out shortcomings is not a pleasant task and neither is receiving critical feedback.
However, QA should not be perceived as a negative exercise. The image of QA should be that of improvement and betterment for the project and the key stakeholders
